British actress and comedian Jade Franks is fast becoming one to watch after her debut solo show, Eat The Rich (but maybe not me mates x), had a string of sell-out performances at 2025's Edinburgh Festival Fringe and Soho Theatre in January 2026.

The critically acclaimed show, inspired by Franks's experiences as a working class Scouser studying at Cambridge University, scooped up multiple awards including The Scotsman's Fringe First Award. The Cambridge graduate has also caught the attention of Adolescence director, Philip Barantini, who is in early talks to turn the play into a TV series. In June 2026, Franks is set to bring her show back to London for three weeks at Soho Theatre.
